June 18, 2016 Craft Day Hey Kids join me at the Rec Centre at 2:30 to create something special for Dad for Father Day. (Wear old cloths as we may use paint)

June 25, 2016 Cupcake/cookie decorating party Frosting, icing and sprinkles and so much more! Kids come join us for some decorating fun at the Rec Centre at 2:30. Decorate your own cupcake or cookie and enjoy a treat. (Please note products may contain traces of nut or nut products) If your child has allergies please contact me so we can try to arrange something to accommodate your child. July 2, 2016 Canada Day Weekend Canada Day Parade to start at 11:30 at the Rec Centre. BBQ to follow at the Rec Centre. Fireworks on the beach (time to be determined, usually when it gets dark enough).

July 9, 2016 Movie night at the Rec Centre. Kids to meet at the Rec Centre for movie and popcorn at 7pm. (Movie to be determined)

July 16, 2016 Kids Bake Off and Adult Chili Cook-off Rec Centre @ 1:30. Adults bring your slow cookers filled with your best chili recipe. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes to be awarded. Kids bring your cookies for your chance to win best cookie bake off. 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes to be awarded.

July 23, 2016 A Day at the Races and Craft contest Kids Remote Control Car/Truck Races. All kids must be at the start line at the Rec Centre for 1pm. Anyone not participating in car race can participate in the craft contest. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes to be awarded.

August 6, 2016 Halloween 6pm Decorate your campers with Halloween lights as the spooky little campers come to your site. Hand out sweets and treats as they shout trick or treat. Please keep in mind there are children with severe food Allergies. Please prepare to have about 250 kids.

August 13, 2016 Christmas-Breakfast & Santa Claus Parade Breakfast with Santa will be served at the Rec Centre starting at 9am and finishing at 11am. Santa Parade will start at 11:30 at the Rec Centre. Decorate your bikes and battery powered cars and join in the fun. Santa and Mrs. Claus will ride with the little campers around the park and end at the Rec Centre, where Santa and Mrs. Clause will be available for pictures. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be handing out a treat for the kids.

August 20, 2016 Kids Fear Factor Gust and Glory will take place at 1:30 for the brave kids. There will only be 1st and 2nd place prize awarded for the Fear Factor. There will be two judges and their ruling will apply. Please register with Park Events Organizer if you will be participating in Fear Factor by no later than 10am the morning of August 6th so that we may prepare. Event will be held at the Rec Centre. The more participating the more fun this is event is.

August 27, 2016 Family Fun Day A schedule of events will be completed and posted on Facebook (copies will be available at the front gate). Hot Dogs, hamburgers, drinks and treats will be provided. If the weather is bad on the 27th –it will be held on Sunday August 28th. (We will need volunteers for this event)

September 3rd, 2016 Labor Day Weekend and Kitchen Party!! Last big weekend for the kids to have fun with family and new friends they have made over the summer before going back to school. Money from our recycling program at the park will be going into a big kitchen party at the Rec Centre from 5pm till the music stops. Food, beverages, much and fun. Anyone who plays guitar or an instrument please bring it for an evening of music and maybe even a scuff. Have a Safe and Fun Weekend.
