Levi John Snow

 

Levi John's is named in honour of our great uncle, Private Levi John Snow, one of Newfoundland's brave son's who put his life on hold at the age of 24 to join the Royal Newfoundland Regiment and fight for King and Country in the Great War.

 

Sadly, Levi John did not get the opportunity to pick up where he left off before the war. He never had the chance to start a family or pursue his dreams. Levi John Snow did not come home. He died from his injuries in the Second Battle of Arras on April 19th, 1917, and is buried in Étaples Military Cemetery in France.  This is our small way of making sure that his name and his story are not forgotten.
